The Campbell Firm PLLC is pleased to announce that it will offer up to 3 law students, who have completed their 2nd year of studies, the opportunity to intern for 9 weeks with The Campbell Firm PLLC from June 13 until August 12, 2011.  The Internship will allow each participating student the opportunity to do projects in one or more of the areas of corporate law, intellectual property law (excluding patent practice), commercial litigation and criminal law.  Each student who successfully completes the internship will receive The Campbell Firm PLLC’s Entrepreneurial Practitioner Scholarship in the amount of $500 to be paid for the Fall 2011 semester to that student’s law school toward that student’s tuition, fees or books or directly to the student, if the student has other forms of scholarship or financial aid covering all such costs.

Interns will be expected to work independently on many projects, as well as collaboratively, and must be self-starters.  Applicants should demonstrate high academic achievement and a commitment to the profession through participation in law review, moot court, clinics or other professional activities.  Applicants should have completed at least the following courses: Corporations, Securities Regulation and Intellectual Property.  Experience in any entrepreneurial enterprise is a plus.  To apply, please submit your resume and list of three professional references with their connection to you, together with a copy of your law school transcript and a cover letter explaining your interest and qualifications to campbellfirm@gmail.com on or before May 17, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.
