Ben Miller recently joined The Campbell Firm PLLC as Counsel. He represents clients in transactional matters, including entity formation, reviewing and preparing employment agreements and partnership agreements (including those among medical professionals), reviewing and preparing leases and other commercial agreements and financing matters; represents clients in connection with licensing and compliance, including, NPI, NABP, Medicaid & Medicare; and represents clients in connection with governmental and insurance company investigations, including Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance fraud, improper billing and improper dispensing of drugs. He also represents clients with respect to alternative dispute resolution, litigates commercial matters, and handles criminal matters.
Mr. Miller received his J.D. from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, and was admitted to practice in New York in 2006. He also holds his Pharm.D. from Long Island University, Arnold and Marie Schwartz School of Pharmacy.
Mr. Miller has personal entrepreneurial experience, having owned his own pharmacy, which was sold to a nationally-branded pharmacy chain and has worked in other retail pharmacy and hospital settings, as well. He has extensive knowledge of the practical aspects of operating a pharmacy and brings his knowledge and experience to help address legal issues in medical-related fields. Mr. Miller combines his interest in criminal law with his pharmacy background to represent clients in criminal investigations concerning alleged improper billing by medical and pharmaceutical professionals.
Mr. Miller is a Brooklynite, with functional language skills in Russian, Hebrew and Yiddish. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, American Society of Pharmacy Law and New York State Chapter of Hospital Pharmacy.
