The Firm represents individuals in connection with civil rights cases, including false arrest, malicious prosecution and police brutality. The Firm’s Civil Rights practice has naturally evolved from its Criminal practice, as sometimes those who are arrested can be the victim of a civil rights violation.
The Firm’s attorneys, in tandem with the Firm’s Litigation practice, represent clients at 50-H hearings and in state and federal courts. Such cases are generally handled on a contingency fee basis; where the Firm is only compensated if the client receives a settlement or a jury award.
